OPEN POSITION(S):

At Slowburn Brewing Co-op we currently have a few different part time roles to cover. Ideally we can find one or two new team members who are able to cover more than one of these roles, or maybe we can find someone who sees themselves in all 4 roles? In this case, the position is full time.

Slowburn is a worker-owned cooperative micro brewery located in the former prison Vridsløselille Fængsel, a 5 minutes walk from Albertslund Station. Besides our brewery we also have a Taproom & Biergarten as well as options for larger groups.

We hope to hear from you and please, when sending us your application, don’t put in information like gender, age, nationality or other background information.

Food & Events Assistant, 5-15 hours/week

At our Taproom, and in collaboration with the other activities in the prison, we host group bookings and pop-up events where we cater the food from our mobile kitchen wagon. We have a professional chef who leads these activities in collaboration with the bar. We are looking for a service minded and experienced person to assist in the kitchen prepping the food and also to run service. Events could be anything from communal long table dinners, company parties, grill buffets, street food style pop-ups for the bar and more. Some experience in cooking professionally for events, catering and/or canteen would be preferred. If you also feel comfortable to run events/service on your own, it is a big plus.

    Delivery Driver, 8 hours/week

    Once a week you will deliver our beers to our lovely customers in Copenhagen with our Iveco Daily van. You need to be comfortable driving and parking a long van in the city, be organized and structured and have physical strength to handle 30 liter kegs. We value our deliveries because it’s an important contact point with our customers, so it’s a big plus if you are service minded and don’t mind having a chat if there’s time, drop off some samples and get some feedback for the sales team.
    For this you must have a driver's license (category B is fine)

For these tasks it is important that you can listen to instructions and enjoy working as part of a team ensuring high efficiency and a good work atmosphere.

        Bartender(s), 6-15 hours/week

        Spring and Summer is coming and our Biergarten is opening back up. Therefore we are looking for bartenders for our Taproom next to the brewery. We have 10 taps of our own beers as well as a menu consisting of simple cocktails, natural wine, bar snacks and grilled sandwiches. We need someone with bartending/service experience who is confident in juggling these different offerings, has good communication skills and is comfortable with a fluctuation in pace. Sometimes we get a big crowd and we need to keep a cool head and be efficient as a team, and sometimes it’s quiet and you can make a hygge vibe in the bar chatting to guests and curating a good playlist, while taking care of extra cleaning and organizing.

        Knowledge about beer is preferred, but not a must. We will teach you what you need to know.
